Paris Day 1

Hey everyone, currently at my aunt’s place in Italy. Just spent the last couple of days in Paris. Went by pretty fast, to be honest. Just wanted to share some pictures and an itinerary recap real quick since I haven’t posted yet. (Will be in 2-3 parts because it'll be a bit long because of pictures and whatnot).

Landed in Paris on Wednesday afternoon and met up with my aunt at the airport. Took a a train and a million metros to the hotel (jk it actually was only like 3). We stayed at a hotel on a canal which was cool Didn’t do much after we got there, we got dinner later that night from a shop. My aunt got a chicken grilled cheese sort of thing that I can’t remember the name of and I got a baguette sandwich thing and a berry cream dessert that had strawberries blueberries and stuff.

Thursday
Thursday we got up, had breakfast at the hotel, and then got on the metro (again lol, we took the metro a lot in Paris but to be fair it probably was quicker and easier than trying to drive around Paris in a car). Once we got off the metro, we saw Hôtel de Ville which is the Paris city hall.

We then walked over to Notre Dame, It’s still currently being rebuilt from the fire a few years ago but was still pretty cool to visit. I was expecting it to be taller though. To be fair I was expecting Paris in general to be taller, but my aunt and I also tended to stay in “older” areas and didn’t really go into the more modern/skyscraper-y areas so that might be why.
After that, we walked over to a garden we found nearby and then to a Shakespeare bookstore that my aunt wanted to visit.
We walked over to the Pantheon and then over to the Luxembourg Garden. You can actually see the top of the Eiffel Tower from the garden.

After Luxembourg, we continued to walk around and stopped at Église Saint-Sulpice and then went to La Crêperie du Clown for lunch. I got a chicken, cheese, tomato, and pesto crepe and my aunt got the Clown (Raclette cheese, potatoes, country ham, salad). 10/10 recommend it (the restaurant was quite small though)
After lunch, we headed to the Lourve and walked around outside. We didn't go in on Thursday, because we already had a tour booked for Friday night.

After the Louvre, we went back to the hotel and then went to dinner. We went to Paname Brewing Company across the canal from the hotel. I got a burger, the sauce made it kind of messy but other than that it was pretty good. On the way back, we stopped at the shop from the first night and I got 2 more desserts. After that, we went back to the hotel for the night.
